About the Festival

This festival invites you to explore how climate change affects not just the planet, but the inner world of the mind. Rising temperatures, loss of ecosystems, uncertainty about the future and lived climate shocks are shaping emotions for a whole generation especially in Africa. Many young people are silently carrying eco-anxiety, stress, climate grief, without ever naming it or finding support. Elevate Minds Festival is a groundbreaking annual festival bringing together art, mental health, climate advocacy and action and creates a safe, inclusive and creative space for people to connect, express, laugh, learn coping tools, and rediscover community resilience. Through art, storytelling, wellness, games and conversations, participants move from awareness to healing, and from isolation to collective strength and action. You don’t just attend you experience, reflect, and leave with tools, hope, and a sense of belonging with ongoing support beyond the event. This event is co-organized by Lost State of Mind, experts in mental health engagement and creative psychosocial programming, and 3Es Experience, leaders in grassroots climate advocacy and education. Together, the two organizations bring a unique, complementary approach that combines lived experience, scientific expertise, and community-driven innovation to make the festival impactful and sustainable.
